Pawn shops cash in
Indonesians flock to pawn shops ahead of Eid al-Fitr to get quick cash to buy presents.
Owning a pawn shop is a growing trade in Indonesia.
As the month of Ramadan draws to a close, Indonesians are choosing to trade their possessions at pawn shops to get easy money rather than take out a bank loan.
So far, around three trillion rupiah, 330 million U.S dollars, has been provided to customers.
The money is commonly used to buy Eid gifts for family and friends.
