Mary Zwo was born in Muenster zoo but had to be separated from the zoo's other gorillas after being attacked by her father. The baby gorilla was taken to hospital after zoo staff found her dehydrated, with low blood sugar and on the verge of hypothermia. But Mary Zwo is now recovering well and is fit enough to appear before her many fans.
