Tony Blair's leadership, which ends with his resignation as prime minister on Wednesday, marked an era of hope and reform, but also of disappointment for many who believed that New Labour would bring sweeping change to Britain. Seen from the eyes of one middle-class London family, the decade following Blair's first election victory has imropved a few things, including primary education and health, but on the whole, has left a rather mixed record.
